Crowfall Ads and Weekend Plan

I normally wouldn’t pay attention to these things. I do, however, listen to the Massively OP podcast where Bree and Justin have talked about the lack of ads and advertising for the recently launched Crowfall. I was quite surprised when I saw one today and then took note of it, as well as a screenshot.

I happened to see it while poking around on WebToons. Only saw it a couple of times, but they do exist in the wild now.

Other than that things are just a bit meh. My wife intends to take everyone to the lake this weekend, which really isn’t my thing. I can chill at the house just as easily as I can anywhere else, and I sure don’t want to be around a bunch of other crowds in public. Sounds like a good way to get the plague.

Having said that, I think I can make it work with a little thought. I have several small projects I can take with me, including some extra reading I’ve been putting off. I’ll also have to take the time to write a post in advance, because I’m familiar enough with the location to know that I’ll be completely off-grid there. No signal for miles out that way.

The reality, though, is that I’ll probably sleep through most of it. I’ve learned to manipulate my sleeping schedule to get some waking daylight hours during the weekend, but this usually involves sleeping late and taking an afternoon nap. I guess we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I do plan to get some time in with New World tonight. Might be an hour, might be eight, we’ll just have to see. That’s probably what my Saturday post will be about.

Y’all take care.
